You type it. We do not build a profile off your browser.

• Quote / contact form (/quote, /contact): name, email, company, and optional fixture and comments. We also record the page you sent it from and the time.
• Newsletter form (footer): email, the page you sent it from, and the time.
• Spam control: a hidden field people never see, and a short limit on repeat submissions from one connection. That means we see the network address of a form post. We use it to slow down bots, not to market to you.

No login, no card, no checkout on this site.

• A quote is a request for pricing, stock, and submittal documents. A person at JL uses it to get back to you. We may keep those details in a customer database so the next quote and the order match.
• A newsletter signup is a request for product updates from JL Lighting. Today your address is emailed to our inbox so we can add you. Unsubscribe by emailing info@getjl.com. When a mailing-list platform is in place, you get one-click unsubscribe in every message.
• We keep this information as long as we need it to quote and support you — in the inbox, in server logs, and in a customer or list database when those exist.

We do not sell this information. We do not share it with advertisers as a list. If we run advertising pixels, they measure visits and ads; they are not a sale of your quote.

The form posts to getjl.com — same site, not a third-party widget.

• Our email delivery provider sends the message.
• Our workspace email is the mailbox (info@getjl.com).
• Our hosting provider runs the site and the form routes. Submissions are also written to the server log so a failed email does not disappear.

Those providers see what they need to run that job.

Today this site does not load analytics, a tag manager, or advertising pixels. Fonts are served with the site.

We may use analytics, advertising pixels, and a mailing-list platform. When we do:

• Analytics records pages viewed, device, and approximate location so we can see what helps people specify and quote.
• Advertising pixels measure and place ads. They may set a cookie or similar identifier.
• A mailing-list platform stores subscriber emails for product updates, with one-click unsubscribe.

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies today. The host may set a strictly technical cookie to serve the page. When analytics or pixels are added, those tools may set their own cookies or identifiers as described above.

Some product pages embed a YouTube video. Playing it is YouTube’s terms. Some spec sheets still open on Google Drive. Instagram and getjlx.com are outbound links. We do not get a copy of what those sites collect.

Email info@getjl.com to correct a quote, delete a submission we still have, or leave the newsletter. Say which email you used.
